Junkie and the Halo is een 5-koppige band uit Zuid-Holland. In februari 2019 kwam de tweede EP ‘Seasons’ uit. De fundering van de band is alternatieve rock, verstevigt met popinvloeden. Tel hier poppunk bij op en creatief gebruik van metalcore elementen en je krijgt Junkie and the Halo. Hierdoor bezit de band een frisse sound die zich laat kenmerken door de muzikale identiteit van elk bandlid. Kortom, oprechte songs. Het is als een liefhebbend huwelijk tussen Paramore en Krezip. Live bieden ze een energieke, strakke en vooral oprechte performance.

Junkie and the Halo is a 5-piece alternative rockband from The Hague with a soft spot for pop. In February 2019 the band released their second EP ‘Seasons’. The foundation of the band is alternative rock and if you mix that up with a steady backing and creative swoops of metalcore you’ll get Junkie and the Halo. Because of the unique musical identity of every band member their music sets them apart from others. Imagine a loving marriage between Krezip and Paramore. A live show would be a combination of high energy and a honest performance.
